Unit Objective(s)/Overview:
Students will:
- Gain a deeper understanding for the Biometric, facial recognition.
- Gain a deeper understanding for the social implications involved in
using facial recognition.
- Engage in computer usage such as, internet research, responding &
posting in a blog format, and using FACES software.
- Identify and measure specific nodal points of the face.
- Using nodal point measurement information, hypothesize, compare &
determine face matches.
- Analyze face match results - why is facial recognition a good or bad
biometric to use in different situations.

Teacher Copy: For line up: Measurement
template with fictitious names
Student Copy: For disguising, measuring,
& match hypothesis.
Metric rulers, colored pencils or markers for disguising "wanted
person".
