Unit Objective(s)/Overview:

This unit is meant to first, introduce biometrics, explore concepts and then, consider the ethics that surround the field of biometrics.  At the conclusion of this unit, students should have (at the minimum) a working definition of the different kinds of biometric tools/devices and how they are used.  Students will develop a preliminary idea of the ethics behind biometrics.
