The Evaluation Process

Units on the Solution Site must go through an extensive evaluation process before they can be viewed by the Public to help ensure that all units are instructionally sound. This process is explained in detail below.
Step One - After the teams create their units and upload all the information to the Solution Site, they then double check for any errors that may be present. If their unit is ready, they send it on to the Proof Room by clicking that option in the "My Units" section of the Production Room.
Step Two - In the Proof Room, the units are checked by selected individuals at the EdVenture Group for spelling, grammar, and broken links. If there are mistakes in the unit, our proofing team will correct the problems and send it to the Evaluation Room. If the unit is missing a file or the errors are extensive, the proofing team will get into contact with the team and correct the problem.
Step Three - The unit will stay in the Evaluation Room until it receives three passing evaluations or two failing evaluations. Every participant in Phase9 is required to evaluate three units individually. If the unit receives three passing evaluations from three different teachers, it is sent to the Expert Panel Room. If it fails twice by two different teachers, it is sent back to the Production Room for the team to make the necessary corrections. Teachers evaluate the units on-line in the Production Room under the "Evaluate A Unit" section.
Step Four - The unit will stay in the Expert Panel Room until it receives a passing evaluation from one of the experienced educators serving on the panel. Again, if it does not pass, it will be sent back to the Production Room for the team to make the necessary corrections.
