It is
7 miles from Cunard-Kaymoor Trail to the Endless Wall climbing area.
Students
will exercise for 1 minute for each mile. Students will need to
exercise
for 7 minutes to fulfill the daily requirement for this activity.
Procedures:

Distribute
student
journals.

Introduce
this
part of the unit (rock climbing at Endless Wall) with the Powerpoint
presentation.

Describe
the benefits
of developing upper body strength.

Calculate
mileage
from Cunard-Kaymoor Trail to the Endless Wall climbing area using
calculators.

Students
perform
exercises
in their physical education class as a substitute for actual rock
climbing.
