1. Schedule the computer lab.
PROCEDURES:
1. Divide students into groups. Each group will
investigate monarchs and their migration by looking
at 2 of the following sites on the internet.

2. Groups will report to the class.
3. Each group will go to JOURNEY
NORTH to investigate making and sending a butterfly to
Mexico. Students will make a butterfly to send
south in the fall. In the spring these butterflies
will be sent north.
MODIFICATIONS:
Lesson will be adjusted according to the IEP of the special needs students.
ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES:
Students will investigate plants that will attract butterflies
and plan a butterfly garden using information
from the following internet sites:
