PowerPoint presentation "Our Changing Currency".
TEACHER NOTES:

The first slide of the PowerPoint presentation "Our
Changing Currency" advances automatically. All other slides advance
with a mouse click.

Do not proceed with procedures until students have mastered all previous
steps.
PROCEDURES:

Begin lesson by holding up real money and some play money. Ask students
which they can buy things with? Why is it important to recognize real money?
Has real money ever changed? Why might it change?.

Show "Our Changing Currency" . Use
questions on slides to help students understand how to recognize different
bills.

Go through the PowerPoint presentation as many times as necessary to help
students understand.
MODIFICATIONS: Students will work in pairs to facilitate needs.
EVALUATION/ASSESSMENT: Oral quiz on questions from PowerPoint
presentations.
