Throughout a nation's history, few events will alter a country's course.
The Civil War, or The War Between the States, was a seminal event in American
history. In these lessons, students will experience the period through
its literature and its music. They will research and write brief
biographies of Civil War-era scientists and mathematicians. Students
will design, construct, and test their own "cannons."
