Materials:  Display area for materials from each group, Student Self Evaluation Forms

Technology Tools/Courseware:  TV/VCR for groups with videotapes, audio play, TV/Scan Converter for PowerPoint presentations

Teacher Notes:
Allow latitude for groups who come up with their own ideas for presentations.
Allow plenty of time for class discussion after each presentation.

Procedures:

• Discuss proper speaking and listening etiquette and the difference between listening and hearing.
• Each group presents its author in its chosen format.
• Class discusses each presentation, offering kudos and constructive criticism.
• Each group member fills out the Self Evaluation Form independently.

Enrichment Activities:  Students could make their presentations for other classes or organizations such as PTA.
