Title:  Author Study: Class Presentations

Grade Levels:  4-6

Subjects:  Reading/Language Arts/Technology

Learner Outcomes: Student will:

Duration of Lesson:  Two sessions of 1 hour each

Materials:  Display area for materials from each group, Student Self Evaluation Forms

Technology Tools/Courseware:  TV/VCR for groups with videotapes, audio play, TV/Scan Converter for PowerPoint presentations

Teacher Notes:
Allow latitude for groups who come up with their own ideas for presentations.
Allow plenty of time for class discussion after each presentation.

Procedures:

Modifications:  Modifications must be made in compliance with students' IEPs.

Enrichment Activities:  Students could make their presentations for other classes or organizations such as PTA.
