Learner Outcomes: Students will be able to recognize land forms such as plains,
                                 peninsulas, hills, rivers, deserts, mountain ranges, islands.
 

Duration of Lesson: Two 30 minute lessons

Materials:   Land form worksheet, overhead transparency of worksheet,
 

Technology Tools/Courseware:  multimedia computers, Land form power point, projector to   view power point, overhead projector.
 

Teacher Notes:

• Teacher should preview Land form power point to familiarize themselves with the program.
• Make copies for each student of the Land form worksheet.
• Prepare a classroom projector to view to the whole class at one time. If no projector is available you could try a computer to TV video hook up.

•  Students view the land form power point presentation.
• Make flash cards of the land forms using the definitions from the power point presentations.
•  Give students time to study their new flash cards with a partner.

• Students can view the land form power point presentation if needed.
• Make copies of the Lovely Land form worksheet for each student.
• Students complete the Lovely Land form worksheet.
• Teacher can use the overhead and overhead transparency of the land form worksheet as a self check with the students.

           Students can link to the following site to work on more Internet land form
