Teachers Notes: Students should have already mastered the technical information associated with constructing a floor system.
Procedure:
Activity 1. Using the Raw Data/Estimation
Formulas Worksheet - Floor Systems students will
calculate the materials needed to construct the floor system.
Activity 2. Using a completed Raw Data/Estimation Formulas Worksheet
and Lumber Price list and
Hardware Price list students will calculate the cost of materials to
construct the floor
system. Open Excel and choose the Invoice Template as the pricing sheet.
Enrichment Activities:
Evaluation/Assessment: Students will print
out a completed pricing sheet for the floor system.
Acceptable level of proficiency: Calculations 95%
