Teacher Notes:

• Students need to have a signed AUP on file.
• Need to have 30-45 minutes for each internet site.

• Brainstorm and record what students know about clouds, what they want to know and what they want to learn. (KWL)
• Read to the class The Cloud Book and discuss the types of clouds.
• Students write what they learned on the KWL chart.
• Students view Internet site Cloud Photo Page.
• Students complete cloud study sheet using information from Cloud Photo Page and the book The Cloud Book.
• Students view Internet site Cloud Formation.
• Students study and record cloud patterns on cloud observation sheet.
• Students share cloud observations.

• Students explain how the water cycle and clouds are connected.
• Students draw the water cycle in Paint.
