Title: Fraction Action, an Online Review

Grade Level: 10-12 (Remedial)

Subject: Mathematics

Learner Outcomes:

Duration of Lesson:   one 50-minute class period

Materials:

computer, pencil and paper
student activity sheet

Technology tools/courseware: computers with internet access

Teacher notes: Reservations in computer lab may be needed.  Teacher will need to be familiar with online material used in lesson.

Procedures:

Modifications:
paired tutoring, direct instruction, enlarged print via data projector used for visually-impaired students, reteaching as needed, other modifications as indicated on student's IEP.

Enrichment Activities:

Students may practice renaming fractions into higher or lower terms; perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions. 

Evaluation/Assessment:   student participation in assignment activities, individual scores on activity sheet
