Description:  Following the reading of Holes , by Louis Sachar, the students will create a biopoem, “I Am” poem, a newsletter and graphs using Excel.

Learner Outcomes:

• The students will read Holes and write a Bio-Poem
• The students will compose an "I Am" Poem
• The students will make a graph comparing the number of scoops of dirt to the millimeters it takes to fill the container
•  The students will graph the average daily temperatures of their hometowns to that of the fictional "Camp Green Lake
