

Origami Lesson 5

Duration of the lesson: sixty minute class period
- Students will learn the history of origami.
- Students will learn how to follow directions to complete a project.
- Students will be able to identify geometric shapes.
Materials:
Paper- cut in squaresTechnology: Computer, PowerPoint, Internet
Teacher Notes:
Make sure the students have permission slips to access Internet
Procedures:
For students who have difficulty with manual dexterity substitute the folding of a box for the crane.
Enrichment:
Have students do some of the more complicated origami models.
