Procedures:

  1. Read the book Young Squanto The First Thanksgiving by Andrew Woods to the class.
  2. Make Indian boys and Indian girls with hand shaped art directions.
  3. Make and play Native American counting game.

Modifications:  Some students may need assistance making their napkin ring.

Students will be evaluated by their participation in the class discussion about Young Squanto The First Thanksgiving by Joyce K Kessel.
