1.  The students will be able to write a math word problem using grocery store ads.
2.  The students will be able to determine the cost of grocery items used in the home.
3.  The students will be able to compare prices at different stores for the same items.

DURATION OF LESSON:
two 45 minute class sessions

1. ads for food items from several grocery stores.
2. paper and pencil
3. overhead

Computer Internet access for each student.
