Materials: Worksheet
from Internet site, pencil, and a graphing calculator.
Technology Tools/Courseware: PC with
Internet connections and Browser of choice.
Teacher notes:

Students should be familiar with the use of a computer and
how to explore the Internet.

The worksheet for Density from the given Internet
site should be printed out for each student or group.
Procedures:

Students will access the Internet site: http://www.explorescience.com/density.htm

Students will complete the worksheet provided by the teacher
using the activity at the Internet site.

Teacher will collect worksheets when students have completed
the activity.
Modifications:

Seeing-impaired students work should be printed on blue paper.

Exceptional children may require more time and possibly need
to work with a teacher's aide for assistance during the activity (or paired
with another student).

Teacher will grade the worksheets of the students. Teacher
will look for student understanding of the concept of density.
