Description:
This is an interdisciplinary unit where students will become familiar with
Greek myths
and the effect they had on the people and the culture of their time.
Students will
become familiar with ancient Greece and become adept at reading maps and locating
specific places in Greece. They will also make a map using criteria
given to them by
the teacher. Using the computer and the internet, they will research
gods and
goddesses and become familiar with their areas of power. Given a list of activities,
they will be able to choose five activities to be completed by the end of
the unit.
