Learner Outcomes:
In this session students will be given time to prepare a power point presentation that they will use to present their Life Long Fitness Plan to their peers in Health class. Students will also use the draft of their fitness brochure from Session Four to begin development of a final product that is to be completed out of class before Session Eight.
Duration of Lesson: Two 90 minute class periods
To provide ample time for the English Instructor to assess the final draft of their life long fitness plan, this session should begin approximately one week after the completion of Session Six.
Materials: Students should have on-paper ideas from Sessions Four and Six.
Technology Tools/Courseware: Computers, Presentation Software
Teacher Notes:
At some point between Session One and Session Seven, the
Business instructor will have taught PowerPoint or some other type of presentation
software. Develop a rubric based on student input from 1st day
of this session.
Procedures:
1st Day: 10 - 15 minutes Solicit student input for items to be included on the evaluation rubric for the presentation and brochure.
During this two-day period, students will use their on-paper ideas that they began development of in Sessions Four and Six to construct a PowerPoint presentation and a brochure.

Evaluation/Assessment: Teacher uses student/teacher-generated rubric for evaluation purposes.
