Learner Outcomes:
This session can begin immediately after Session Eight providing announcements (see procedures) have been made to the community.
Materials: Student's Life Long Fitness Plans and Fitness Brochures
Technology Tools/Courseware: Computers, Presentation Software
Teacher Notes:
Students whose presentations were not chosen from Session 8 will not be required to attend this after school session, but will be encouraged to attend to share ideas and give input on the development of the fitness area.
Remember to arrange meeting time to present ideas to the community (County Commission) for Session Ten.
Procedures:
Make announcements to the school and the community encouraging input toward the development of an area offering fitness opportunities to the community.
With the assistance of the after school technology tutor or other computer lab representative, students will rework their presentation and brochure for a different audience; the community.
Students and community members will determine the type of fitness area that will be best suited in our community.
Students should be aware that they must be prepared to address questions from the audience.
Modifications: Made at the teacher’s discretion following I.E.P. guidelines.

Evaluation/Assessment: Observation, Question and Answer Session, and evidence of revisions
