Lesson 1 - Get Ready!  Get Set!  Go!

1.)    Before students start computers, hand out and discuss the "Booting and Shutting Down Windows"
        handout.  Make sure to emphasize the importance of the "shutting down" step.
2.)    Have students start computers and explain any log-on instructions.
3.)    Tell the students how to double-click on the Netscape Communicator icon to access the Internet.
4.)    In the "Location" box, have students type the URL for The Solution Site (http://www.thesolutionsite.com)
        and find the unit called Surviving in Windows 98.  Then select "Lesson 1 - Get Ready!  Get Set!  Go!"
5.)    Have students follow the instructions and activities in Lesson 1.
