NOTES:

Students
must have completed lessons one and two prior to this lesson. They
must have their Eratosthenes Sieve and their prime factorization worksheets
for this lesson.

There are
many sites for this lesson, students may have trouble hitting the same
site at the same time. Students should know that in any given part
of the lesson that they can go to any site on the lesson.

Teachers
should reserve the computer lab for two days to do this lesson.
PROCEDURES:
There is a site with the definition
of square roots and there are two sites for remediation or for introduction
to students who might need more help.
The worksheet would be next for the students
Then the following site is the best explanation of square roots
These sites will simplify any expression like a calculator
There is also a site of square
roots to 100 that will be helpful for students to check their answers
after they have completed the worksheet on square roots. There is
also a site for enrichment for those who finish quickly or want more information.
