Duration of Lesson:
1 - 45 minute session

Prizes for winning person/team (bus erasers, Magic
School Bus books, etc.)

Safety Game Show
Teacher Notes:
Teacher may want to create cards or ask questions via linked sites.
Bookmark given sites for game questions (See Technology Tools/Courseware).
Procedures:

Review the SBS rules through brainstorming
activity.

Go to bookmarked sites.

Play Traffic
Safety Jeopardy and/or Highway
Safety Game Show.
Modifications:
Allow students who can not recall
facts to be the scorekeeper during the activity.
Enrichment Activities:
Students will use Print
Shop or Creative
Writer software to design a bus driver appreciation card.
Copy/ paste School
Bus Driver poems.
Evaluation/Assessment:
Teacher observation of students' participation.
