Procedures:Teacher plays the role as facilitator while students work on their project.
Prior student knowledge of PowerPoint is needed.
Sample Career PowerPoint will be displayed via projector device.
Students will be given a template for their Career PowerPoint.
Students will choose a career to research that deals with weather.
Students will use these links to research their career choice.
Occupational Outlook Handbook
CresscoStudents will conduct their research and enter their information onto their PowerPoint using
their template as a guide.
Students will present their Career PowerPoints to the class.
Modifications:
Some students may need a peer tutor to help with their research and PowerPoint.Enrichment Activities:
Go to a TV station and give a weather report.
Role play tv anchors and video tape one another.
