Description: The purpose of this unit is to allow students to become knowledgeable about various kinds of storms. In Lesson 1 the students will research severe weather topics resulting from types of waves found around the world. In Lesson 2 the students will understand where and how tornadoes form. In Lesson 3 the students will learn about thunderstorms. In Lesson 4 the students will observe the distinct shapes in natural disasters. In Lesson 5 the students will explore movement of air.
