Computer with Windows 98 operating
system and Internet access

Microsoft Word 2000
-
Netscape Communicator
Teacher Notes:

Students must have a signed Technology
Acceptable Use form on file.

Students should have completed Surviving
Word 2000, Lessons 1-3.
Procedures:
1.) Have students
boot their computers and then double-click on the Netscape Communicator
icon
to access the Internet.
2.) In the "Location"
box, have students type the URL for The Solution Site (http://www.thesolutionsite.com)
and find the unit called Surviving Word 2000. Then select "Lesson
4 - How Do I Look?"
3.) Follow the
instructions given in Lesson 4.
Modifications:
-
Student IEPs will determine lesson
modifications.

Advanced students will help students
who are experiencing difficulties.
Enrichment Activities:
-
Open the document you completed in
Lesson 3 "_______________'s Constitution" (where your name
replaces the blank). Use
the spell checker and the grammar checker to correct the mistakes in this
document. Save your corrected
document as "Lesson 4 Enrichment." Print a copy, label the printout
with your name, the current date,
and "Lesson 4 Enrichment." Then give the printout to your instructor
for evaluation.
