This unit will
teach parents and students to make good choices when it comes to
their eating and exercise habits.
Learner Outcomes:
The student will construct a food pyramid.
The student will show an understanding of the BMI using
the Bio-impedance Analyzer.
The student will gain knowledge in the importance in
vitamin D.
The community, staff, parents, and students will demonstrate
an awareness of healthy food choices and exercise by participating in the
back-to-school night health challenge.
