The Industry of EdVenture Island:

 
Agriculture
Farming is a major employer and generator of wealth on the eastern side of EdVenture Island.  There are currently 12 farms on the 150,000 acres of farmland on the island. 
Cattle/horse/goat/sheep ranching can be found on the western side of the island. Currently there are nine ranches operating.
 
Manufacturing
Fishing
The manufacturing sector is also growing with hi-technology as a corner stone. Currently three major manufacturing businesses operate on the island.  It is projected that in the next five years the manufacturing industry could increase threefold.
Fishing the rich Pacific Ocean is also of ever increasing economic importance with much of the catch exported to the Asian market.  One large fishing company currently exists on the island.
Tourism
Mining

With so much to see and do in EdVenture Island, tourism is also a major source of income. Around 5000 visitors per year come here.  It is projected that as much as 100 new businesses will be involved in tourism.

EdVenture Island is rich with ores.  The island has  five, small working  mines extracting gold, silver, iron, copper, and aluminum.  There are also oil and gas reserves that have been used only for local heating.
