TIP: It is a good idea to storyboard your presentation before you begin constructing it.
PROCEDURES: Review why web pages are a means of imparting vital information.
Review Questions about "Who is Your Audience"?
Students
are to work in groups. Each group of students will research the
element Who is your audience? as it applies to
web page design. Students will prepare a PowerPoint presentation
on their assigned element.
Students
will use the web sites to complete as much of the selected or
assigned web page elements on the PowerPoint
Requirements Worksheet
as possible.
Students will use the following web sites to download pictures and
information about the selected or assigned web elements:
- Yahooligans (search engine)
- Animation Factory
MODIFICATIONS:After gathering all of the graphics and information needed,
students are to make a rough draft drawing of each slide to use as a
guide in making their presentation.
Students are now ready to make the PowerPoint Presentation.
Students will present the presentation to the entire class using a
presentation device if available.Students will also save the presentation as a web page.
ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES:Modifications should be made according to Individualized Education Plans.
