Teacher Notes: Procedures:
    First Period:
  1. Review with students the Acceptable Use Policy for using Internet.
  2. Discuss the data collection sheet with the students.
  3. The students are then to go to their chosen college's web and complete the data sheet.
    Second Period:
  1. Students continue to search for their college information.
  2. Students will begin to prepare a rough draft of their written summary.
    Third Period:
  1. Students will edit rough drafts for grammar, usage, organization, punctuation, and capitalization errors.
  2. Students will type final draft of the written summary.
  3. Students will compile written summaries into a classroom reference book of colleges.
Modifications: Enrichment:
    1.  Students may design a brochure for their college.
    2.  Students may give an oral presentation of their college search summary.
