THE RATIFICATION


Grade Levels:  5th Grade and 6th Grade

Subjects:  Social Studies, Mathematics, and Language Arts

Learner Outcomes:  The students will:

Duration of lesson:  2 class periods (48 minute periods)

Materials:  Computer with Internet access, colored pencils, and graph paper

Technology Tools/Courseware:  Internet access

Teacher Notes:  Make sure all students have signed the internet acceptable use policy.

Modifications:  Cooperative pairing for students with special needs

Enrichment:  Students are to create a travel brochure as directed on the Come to America website.  Once students have accessed this site, instruct them to click on "Come to America" for complete instructions.
