Title: Grand Finale (Field Trip & Unit Assessment)

Learner Outcome:


Duration of Lesson:
1 day and one 45 minute class period

Materials:
Digital camera, permission slips, teacher made comprehensive exam

Technology Tools/Courseware:
Slide presentation of field trip.

Teacher notes:
Secure permission slips and check class roster.
Copy roster for each chaperone.
Secure emergency phone numbers and medications.
Delegate one of the chaperones to take candid pictures of the tour.
Give copy of Unit Exam to special needs teacher for individual modifications.

Procedures:
Day 1. Make class roster & enjoy the tour.
Day 2. Review with slide presentation.
Send special needs students to resource room.
Administer Unit Exam.

Modifications:
On the tour, each special needs student will be assigned a personal chaperone.
The special needs instructor will modify the exam for individual needs.

Enrichment Activities:
For review before exam or just for fun-Coal Lumps Game
