Duration of Lesson:Students will research via the internet to compile information on a president of choice.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of PowerPoint 2000, by displaying their information in a PowerPoint presentation.
Five class periods (approx. 50 minutes each)Materials:

Procedures:Be sure to have parent internet consent forms signed by all students and parents.
Students who do not have internet consent need to use an encyclopedia or encyclopedia software i.e. Encarta.
You will need to make available the following sites:
You will want to view the PowerPoint Presentation before using it in your classroom.
Evaluation/Assessment:Students need to print a copy of the Presentation Requirements.
The Teacher needs to make available a copy of the Presentation worksheet for students to use as a guide to make sure they include everything.
After students complete their PowerPoint presentations, they will present it to the class.
Each student will use a peer critique form to critique other students' presentations.
