Web Lesson on Presidents

Learner Outcomes:
Students will work in pairs to research via the internet to compile information on 10 different  presidents.
Upon completion of the web lesson, the student will be able to identify specific information about 10 different Presidents i.e. his term, when he was born, his birthplace, the presidents' former occupation, his educational background, family background, political party, his Vice President, major accomplishments or failures, whether he served during a time of war or peace, the date when he died.
Duration of Lesson:
Two class periods (approx. 50 minutes each)
Materials:
Computer(s), web lesson worksheet, pencil
Technology Tools/Courseware:
 Internet accessible computer(s)
Teacher Notes:


Procedures:

Group students into pairs.
Teacher needs to Print web lesson worksheet ahead of time to use as a guide.
Students need to print one copy of the web lesson worksheet per group of students to use as a guide.
Answer each question in a complete sentence.
Read directions orally, and check for understanding.
To make sure every president is used at least one time have the students to sign up for their presidents on the sign-up sheet.
