Renaissance Personality

Learner Outcomes:
Students will research via the internet to compile information on a renaissance personality.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of PowerPoint 2000, by displaying their information in a PowerPoint Presentation.
Duration of Lesson:
Five days (approx. 50 minutes each)
Materials:
Computers, Data Projector, Sign-up Sheet of Renaissance Personalities
Teacher Notes:
Be sure to have parent consent forms signed by all students and their parents.
Students who do not have internet consent need to use an encyclopedia or encyclopedia software, ie. Britannica or Encarta.

Procedures;
Share with the class the PowerPoint on the Renaissance Personality Research Project.
Have students to sign-up for their Renaissance Personality.
Teacher and students will visit several renaissance web sites.
After collecting the information, Students will need to display their information in a PowerPoint Presentation.
At the end of the week, students will give an oral presentation using the powerpoint.
