to live a healthier lifestyle.

Students will evaluate their progress with these goals in
one month.

Time Frame: One class
period. (45 minutes)
Materials: healthy
snacks
Technology Tools/Courseware:
Teacher Notes: Prepare
and/or have students bring in enough healthy snacks for entire class.
Procedures:
-
Allow students time to evaluate the results of their food
diaries and list goals for improvement in their eating habits.

Type these goals into Creative
Writer or Word,
whichever is available.

Have students evaluate these goals in one month.

To encourage trying new healthy foods, participate in a tasting
party of healthy snacks.
Modifications: Depending
on disability and IEP, peer tutoring on computer assignment.
Enrichment Activities:
To help students with their goals of eating healthy, allow them to bring
in nutritional recipes to be typed into Creative
Writer or Word
and put together into a Healthy Snacks Cookbook.
