Procedures:
Part 1: Can you see the conflicts in A Wrinkle in Time clearly? Color the sentences according to the code.
  1. Meg is afraid of the storm.
  2. Meg doesn't trust Mrs.Whatsit.
  3. Meg believes she is dumb.
  4. Meg’s in trouble at school.
  5. Sandy calls Meg a “dope.”
  6. Nosy people ask Meg about Mr. Murry.
  7. Charles Wallace is upset with Mrs. Whatsit for stealing the sheets.
  8. Charles Wallace doesn't trust Calvin at first.
Modifications: Special needs students will form a smaller group with Facilitator to answer questions.

On the back of this page, describe a conflict you have seen on a recent television program. How was it resolved?
Evaluation/Assessment:
Facilitator will grade conflict answers.
Discussion will follow the lesson.
