2. Find Color
Magic Experiment.
3. Read and discuss experiment.
4. Provide necessary tools for experiment
- clear cups, food coloring, water.
5. Complete experiment as directed by Internet
site.
6. Discuss results.
7. List the colors created by mixing primary
colors.
Yellow + blue = green
Red + yellow = orange
Red + blue = purple
Modification:
Teachers should determine specific needs
of students as indicated on Individualized Educational Plan.
Enrichment Activities:
Make patterns with linking cubes or colored
counters using primary and secondary colors.
Evaluation/Assessment:
Oral discussion.
"Show Me" game - students hold up the correct
colored linking cube, counter, or colored shape
when prompted by questions.
(Ex. - "What color is made by mixing yellow and blue?")
