1. Read and discuss the book, Brown
Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
2. Identify and list animals in the book
- compare make-believe colors and real colors of animals.
3. Make chart of which animals were primary
colors and which were secondary colors.
4. Discuss colors - brown, white, &
black.
5. Go to Brown
Bear Art Internet site and follow
directions to make large animals - stencils provided -
attachment
#4a.
Modifications:
Teachers should determine specific needs
of students as indicated on Individualized Educational Plan.
Enrichment Activities:
Students could create stories about animals
using Children's Writing & Publishing or Creative Writer.
Students could take an electronic field
trip to a zoo.
