Modifications:
Students with learning needs can work with a ' buddy' or
other students who are more proficient with computer functions. Students
with visual needs may need screen adaptations with font size, etc., or
allow 'buddy' students to read information to them.
Enrichment
Activities: Advanced students can go into college
choices - 'College Strategy' and match up careers with colleges
that offer those majors. These students can also meet with leaders in their
area pertaining to their career choice. After meeting with them they can
use a digital camera to take pictures of these community persons to add
to their portfolio collections.
Students will have available the video
series Real
LIfe 101 to view throughout this lesson. Additional information
on the videos is available from the above link.
Evaluation/Assessment: Portfolio comprised of information/material researched from 'ECOS' and other referenced sources.
