Title: Sweet Excursions
Grade Level: 7
Subject: Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies
Learner Outcomes: Students will display the knowledge they have gained in their study of chocolate by participating in a festival.
Time Frame: 1 week
Materials: Students will request necessary materials for the booth display one week in advance, in order for the teacher to acquire materials not supplied by the students.
Technology Tools/Courseware:
computers with Internet access,
Office 97 or other software with word processing program and multimedia
presentation package (Power Point)
Teacher Notes: Students will follow directions set forth in procedures and submit a materials list to the teacher one week prior to the festival. They will also need to submit their Product Planner (teacher should print one for each group) one day before the festival is held.
Procedures:
1. Each of you will chose a partner
to form a company.
2. Your company will develop and
market a chocolate product.
