What Have You Learned about Fritz's Friends, Fifth Graders?

Materials:

• Shh! We're Writing the Constitution by Jean Fritz
• For each student:
• Students will need to have all contract activities and response log completed and ready to turn in.
• Students must bring all materials necessary to dramatize the activity chosen on the contract.

• Multimedia Computer
• Data Projector
• Multimedia Presentation software such as Power Point, Corel Presentations, or Hyperstudio
• Microphones
• Internet access

Make sure all students have the approved Internet permission form before using or viewing material on the Internet.  Reserve a time in the lab to complete multimedia presentations.

1.  Individuals or groups of students will take turns presenting their dramatic expressions.
2.  Students will create a multimedia presentation about a colonial topic of their choice.
3.  The students will present their multimedia presentation to the large group using the data projector.

The students will work in cooperative groups for most activities.

Students may opt to complete more than one dramatic expression activity.
