Procedures:
-
The students
will go to Healthy Teeth.
Under Teeth and Gums click on Tooth Growth and Development. Read
orally and discuss all information with students. Give opportunity
for students to ask questions. The students will use the site to
answer the questions on the teeth and gums worksheet.

Invite a guest
speaker from a dental office to give a presentation on how to care for
teeth. Give the class the opportunity to ask the speaker questions.
-
At the completion
of the lesson the students will draw a picture of something they learned
from the guest speaker and write a thank you note. The teacher will
get these notes to the speaker.
