Description: The students will be introduced to the parts of a plant and their functions. They will explore the importance of plants to their environment and to us.
Learners Outcome:
The students will label
the stem, leaf, roots, and flower of a plant.
The students will explain
the purpose of each part of a plant.
The students will understand
the importance of plants to the environment and to us.
The students will name 3 plants
we eat and 3 items made from plants.
The students will recognize
that a plant grows from a seed.
Duration of Lesson: 6 days, 30 minutes per day
