The unit includes the American form of government which includes the three
branches of local, state, and national government. It focuses on the Legislative
Branch and how a bill becomes a law. The students view the process
of selecting a President and research and study the lives of Presidents.
Students identify the rights and duties of citizenship. Students search
information on the Internet to identify American Symbols and what they
mean.
