| Meteorology is the study of the Earth's atmosphere and the phenomena that result from its changes. The study of the day-to-day variations is called weather. An average of the weather conditions over a long period of time is the climate. |
| Meteorologists are the people who study the weather and give forecasts. They use many instruments to measure and record data about the weather. This data helps them make predictions (forecasts) about the weather. "How to Build Weather Gathering Equipment Labs" are hyper-linked to this site. Simply click the name of the apparatus that you are interested in, go there, build it, set it up, record data, and you are on your way to becoming a meteorologist. |
