Description:
A thematic unit based on
animals that consume flies. Using a variety of literary fact and
fictional selections students will explore the world of "potential" fly
eaters through activities in Language Arts, Fine Arts, Math, Science, Health
and Physical Education.
Learning Outcome:
- The students will be able to recognize the importance of following directions
- The students will follow explicit directions.
- The students will be able to make observations about things in nature.
- The students will be able to recognize members of the “__og” word in a real or nonsense word.
- The students will be able to count to 8.
- The students will use fine motor skills including folding, cutting and coloring
