• Review concepts of the PowerPoint Program.
• Create and select a presentation style.
• Create a short five slide Presentation.

Materials: internet consent, storyboard

Technology Tools/Courseware: Computer lab, PowerPoint Software, Projector

Procedures:
  Days 1 & 2         Creating 5 plain slides and title slide

• Divide students into pairs.
• Assign or choose health/wellness topics for each group.
• Students create a storyboard as a guide for their project.
• Have students to open the PowerPoint program.
• In the PowerPoint dialog box, click the Blank Presentation option button and click OK.
• Click the blank box and okay.
• Click the blue crooked A icon near the bottom of the screen and pick a WordArt style.
• Type the title, choose the font, and click okay.
• Size and place the title.
• Click the white text box (beside the A), place pointer arrow under the title and drag.
• Type authors' names in box and place where needed.
• Click the new slide icon (white page with a star in the corner).
• Click okay for a new blank slide.
• Continue process for five slides.

• Add background to all slides.
• Put an automatic timer to move slides.
• Choose clipart
• Follow directions from PowerPoint in the Classroom
