| A Day at the Fair
Seventh Grade Language Arts
Students in Language Arts, Technology, and Health/Physical Education classes will work together to create, implement, and participate in a student centered, community/school health and wellness fair. Students will invite various community health care providers. They will also be responsible for the logistics of the day: i.e. brochures, layout of booths, posters, advertisements, invitations. Technology classes will write letters soliciting participants. Upon completion of the day, they will also be responsible for writing follow up thank you letters. Health classes will investigate the components of healthy living, exploring all the factors and influences that affect optimum health. Students will be required to complete a scavenger hunt worksheet. The answers to the questionnaire can be obtained from collecting information from the participating booths. Brenda McCorkle
