Materials: Teacher Power Point, handouts, and TV/VCR/PC w/scan converter or data projector.
Technology Tools/Courseware: Microsoft Office ( Power Point ) used by the teacher.

Modifications:
Students with learning needs can be placed with a 'buddy'
who can assist with this activity.
Students with visual needs can be placed
closer to the blackboard during this activity.
Enrichment
Activities: Advanced students can log onto ECOS;
using the 'College Major' screen they can research three 'major'
career areas. Students will then provide an oral report to the rest of
the students for review.
Students will have available the video
series Real
LIfe 101 to view throughout this lesson. Additional information
on the videos is available from the above link.
Evaluation/Assessment: Class participation ( rated according to the discretion of the teacher ).
